The Lexington Art League has a challenge for everyone in our community: fold 1000 origami dragons. The 1000 Dragon Challenge is extended to all who wish to participate and show solidarity during these confusing times through art. Dragons are strong and resilient, so by folding 1000 dragons, which will be hung in the Loudoun House, we aim to communicate that we are strong, we are resilient, and as a community we will make it through this and create something beautiful.  In order to take part in the challenge, fold one, or as many origami dragons as you would like to and either mail them to 209 Castlewood Dr, Lexington, KY 40505, or stick them through the mail slot. If you choose to come in person to drop them off in the mail slot, please remember to use hand sanitizer before and after.
